National Walk at Lunch Day
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) and YMCAs across the state invite you to join in on the fun of National Walk at Lunch (NW@L) Day on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. NW@L Day is an annual event that encourages community members to walk for 30 minutes any time, any place, to prioritize their well-being.
NW@L Day supports the community, too! If 10,000 Nebraskans take the NW@L Day pledge, BCBSNE will donate $5,000 to Special Olympics Nebraska, a nonprofit providing year-round sports training and competitions for children and adults with disabilities.
Additionally, one lucky participating school's physical education department will receive a $1,000 donation from BCBSNE. Plus, as a bonus this year, BCBSNE will also donate $1,000 to one participating nonprofit.
