Unified Leagues
What We Do
Unified Leagues allow students to gain sports training and competition opportunities for students with and without intellectual disabilities. Unified Leagues are most often affiliated with a school and can last 6-8 weeks. Teams can choose to practice on a weekly basis, or host a more 'intramural-style' league play. Special Olympics Nebraska is in the process of establishing partnerships with local schools and universities to offer more opportunities for unified league play.
